The company

Royal Payment Solutions is the company behind RoyalPay, the financial app for people who live, work and spend across borders.

The idea started in January 2025 with a simple observation: people who live, work or sell across borders still lose money and time on every currency switch, and they rarely see what they pay for it. We spent the following year and a half on research, design and a working prototype, and formalised the company in 2026.

Our model is simple: customer money belongs with licensed institutions, and the experience belongs to us. We put our energy into what people touch every day: a fast app, fair prices, instant control and answers from real people, in English, Polish and Czech. Our motto is “Cash is King” because control over your own money is what RoyalPay is for.

What we stand for

Four principles we use when a decision is not obvious.

Licensed rails only
We never hold customer money. If a feature would need a licence we do not have, it waits for the partner who does.
Plain truth
Clear prices, clear status, clear answers. Nothing on our sites claims more than we can show.
Security first
A feature ships when it is safe, not when it is ready to demo.
Small and accountable
Every function has a named owner. Decisions are written down and can be explained later.

Management structure

A small structure on purpose. Every function has an owner, and work that needs outside expertise goes to people who do it every day.

Managing member

Strategy, governance and signing authority. Approves policies and partner agreements.

Held by the managing member

  • Product and technology

Product design, engineering, infrastructure and information security.

    Held by the managing member

    Held by the managing member

  • Partnerships and finance

Relations with issuing partners, budgeting, bookkeeping and reporting.

    Held by the managing member

  • Legal and regulatory counsel

Independent counsel in the relevant jurisdiction, engaged per matter.

    External, engaged per matter

  • Specialist advisers

AML, security, card schemes, tax and risk, consulted as questions arise.

    External, engaged per matter

  • Customer operations

Support, complaints handling and first-line monitoring. To be staffed before launch.

    Planned before launch

  • Held by the managing member
  • External, engaged per matter
  • Planned before launch

As the team grows, the compliance function will be separated from the product and partnership roles, so that no one reviews their own work.
