Not a bank
RoyalPay is a brand of Royal Payment Solutions, LLC, a financial technology company. We are not a bank, credit institution, payment institution, electronic money institution or money transmitter, and we do not hold customer funds.
Prelaunch status
No accounts, payment services, currency exchange or cards are currently offered. Everything in the sandbox, including balances, IBANs, cards, top ups, rates and transactions, is simulated and has no monetary value.
Sandbox identifiers
Sandbox IBANs use the check digits 00 and bank code 00000000, which makes them invalid by design; they cannot receive money. The sandbox BIC ends in 0, which marks a test BIC. Sandbox card numbers are never generated in full; only illustrative last four digits are shown. No card network marks are used.
Deposit protection
Funds are not held by us and no deposit insurance or safeguarding applies to the sandbox. When we launch, this page will name the licensed partner that issues accounts and cards and explain how your money is protected (for example deposit insurance at a bank or safeguarding at an electronic money institution).
Exchange rates
Rates shown are European Central Bank euro foreign exchange reference rates, published for information purposes only, or indicative fallback values when the feed is unavailable.
Cash top ups
Planned cash top ups at post offices will depend on partner support in each country and will be subject to limits, identity checks and anti money laundering monitoring. Cash will always be credited to the customer’s own account at the partner and never to an account of Royal Payment Solutions, LLC or any other person.
